This hotel is a great choice for those looking for value for money. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the excellent amenities provided. The location is ideal, with a nice cafe nearby and the convenience of being close to Termini Station. The staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay. The rooms are clean and well-maintained, with a cute mezzanine and a comfy bed. The shower in the room is excellent, and the fact that the toilet is included is a nice touch. Plus, breakfast is included, making it even more convenient for guests.
All was ok, nothing to complain about.

The hotel is almost right outside the Vittorio Emanuel metro stop, also walkable from Roma Termini station. This is the only positive point that I could find.
We booked an airconditioned room but found that there is no air conditioner in the room which was essential in July. We then asked for a fan/ventilator but were told that nothing of that kind was available. The next day a portable airconditioner was provided to us with the pipe going through the window which meant that there could be no privacy in the room because the other apartments had windows facing ours. The rooms were never cleaned even once during our stay of 3 nights and just one large towel was provided for the two of us. We were never told that breakfast was buffet-style so the first morning we kept waiting for someone to come and serve breakfast and coffee. We couldn't figure out how the coffee machine worked and the staff member didn't know it either. The last day we left the luggage at the hotel and came back in the evening to collect it. When we asked whether we could use the toilet, it was politely refused; although there were common toilets (i.e., not inside the rooms).

Location and staff were good
Staff weren't on hand often so was slightly difficult to check out / make payment etc. Nothing too major though.

This hotel is situated in a great neighborhood near the city center, with a lovely cafe close by to grab a morning coffee. the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, with good Wi-Fi and air conditioning. the staff was friendly and helpful, providing daily cleaning service.
The breakfast was limited and simple, with only basic options available.

The team (two brothers) are incredibly kind, friendly and helpfull. They do all their best to make your stay more enjoyable.
The area (close to Termini Station) is not safe during the night. As two girls, we have been harassed several times on the way.

Very clean and well maintained place. Choice of items for breakfast was good. Staff were very nice.
Location. It was in 6th floor of an apartment with a lift in which hardly one person can fit in. The single room was very very small yet comfortable for a single person who doesn't mind luxuries.

The hotel is only 10 steps away from metro station which is on Linea a which is the main metro line in Rome. Room/bathroom was very clean and quite comfortable and breakfast was very good. You can always get free water/juice/coffee and desserts whenever you want. The neighboorhood was safe. Last but not the least the staff (Mattia and Marco )was very helpful and friendly. If I ever come to Rome again I will stay in Carlo Alberto again. I strongly recommend this hotel. The service and comfort were excellent despite the very cheap 65 euros/per night/ double room.
I dont have even one bad memory in this hotel. It was excellent.

The owner makes a personal effort to ensure I arrive safely by making a few calls. The owner also given me a bigger room and setup the portable air-condition system when I mentioned the room is a bit hot. The breakfast is worth the value I am paying for. Everything seems unbelieveably excellent!
The area can be quite dark at night, but once familiar shall not have problem.

Good Location and Breakfast!
We spent Easter weekend at this hotel and the location was perfect for exploring the city. It was close to the metro and other key sights. We also enjoyed the breakfast, which had a good selection of pastries, fruit, and drinks. On top of this, the room was cleaned every day, which was a nice touch.
The bathroom was also quite small and cramped. We felt that for the amount we paid, we could have gotten better value elsewhere.

This hotel really exceeded our expectations. the value for money was fantastic - we couldn't believe how affordable it was for such a great stay. Secondly, the location was perfect. It was in a good neighborhood and even had a nice cafe close by. Plus, being basically ON a metro stop made getting around the city a breeze. Lastly, the staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. The basic amenities were all there, and the rooms were clean and well-appointed, with an excellent shower and even a cute mezzanine with a comfy bed. And to top it all off, breakfast was included!
All aspects of our stay at this hotel were absolutely fine.

Very nice staff and the place is kept clean. Breakfast was simple but good. Right across the street from a Metro station, which was excellent, and not too far from Termini. The building was a little hard to find but we figured it out pretty easily. Recommended for budget travelers.

Staff are very warm, kind and helpful. Location is just 10 min. walk to the colloseum, and is just close to the magnificent Santa Maggiore. Room is spacious enough and equipped with fridge, TV etc. It is actually very comfortable staying here. Wish I had planned more nights here....
